MARK YOUR CALENDARS!April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
2. TYSONS CORNER Silver Diner -- Wednesday, April 23 - 5:30 - 8:30. Need 6-7 volunteers per hour - they will help clean up, serve drinks and desserts. I also need someone to staff the info/donation table in the lobby. The first shift needs to show up at 5. There will be regular staff actually serving. We NEED to bring in 300 people for Silver Diner to give us a good donation - Please send the attached flyer to all your kids sport teams etc!!!
3. RESTON Ben and Jerry's --Tuesday, April 29 - 12 - 7 pm. Need 2-3 volunteers at all times. One to staff the info/donation table, one to "manage" the long line and one to generally help. (Childhelp has been selected as the charity recipient for their Free Cone Day!)
Save the Date-- Tuesday, May 20-- 2nd Annual Capital CAREaoke - Need volunteers for duties like registration!
