Since its founding in 1959 by Sara O' Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Childhelp has become one of the United States' oldest and largest national nonprofits dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect.
Childhelp offers help to abused children and their families across the U.S., its territories and Canada through the National Child Abuse Hotline, 1-800-4-A-CHILD®. Child abuse prevention, education and training programs are being taught in schools across the country through our Good-Touch/Bad-Touch® curriculum. State-of-the-art treatment programs including residential treatment facilities, therapeutic group and foster homes and child advocacy centers located in several regions across the United States.
